We collect the minimum data necessary to provide our service:
We do not collect your name, NHS number, workplace, browsing history, or any other personal information.
Your email address and specialty selection are used solely to:
We will never sell or rent your email address, and we will never share it with anyone for their own marketing. We share it only with the service providers we need in order to run your subscription:
Both act on our instructions as data processors and may not use your address for their own purposes. We do not send marketing emails on behalf of other organisations, and we do not use your data for advertising.
We process your data on the basis of contractual necessity — you provide your email and specialty so that we can fulfil your subscription and deliver the digest service you have paid for.
All payments are handled by Stripe, a PCI-DSS compliant payment processor. When you subscribe, you are redirected to Stripe's secure checkout page. We do not receive, process, or store your credit or debit card details at any point. Stripe's own privacy policy governs their handling of your payment data.
Your email address and specialty selection are stored on a password-protected, encrypted device with access restricted to the service operator only. Your email address is also held within our email sending service which is protected by two-factor authentication.
We do not store your data on shared servers or third-party platforms beyond what is necessary to deliver the service. We retain your data for the duration of your subscription. If you cancel, we will delete your data within 30 days of your subscription ending.
Our journal summaries are generated using artificial intelligence (Anthropic Claude). Article metadata (titles, authors, abstracts) is retrieved from PubMed, a public database maintained by the U.S. National Library of Medicine.
Your personal data is never sent to any AI service or third-party API. The AI processes only publicly available journal article data — never subscriber information.
Under UK GDPR, you have the following rights:
To exercise any of these rights, email us at info@mondayclinicalbrief.co.uk. We will respond within 30 days.
You can unsubscribe at any time by:
Unsubscribing stops the emails. To stop the payment as well, cancel your subscription in the billing portal — the same route described in our Terms of Service. Once cancelled, you will not be charged again at the next renewal date.
Our website does not use cookies or any tracking technologies. We do not use analytics services such as Google Analytics. The Stripe checkout page may set its own cookies, governed by Stripe's cookie policy.
We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. If we make significant changes, we will notify subscribers by email.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO): ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.
