Payment processing

All payments are handled by Stripe, a PCI-DSS compliant payment processor. When you subscribe, you are redirected to Stripe's secure checkout page. We do not receive, process, or store your credit or debit card details at any point. Stripe's own privacy policy governs their handling of your payment data.

How we store your data

Your email address and specialty selection are stored on a password-protected, encrypted device with access restricted to the service operator only. Your email address is also held within our email sending service which is protected by two-factor authentication.

We do not store your data on shared servers or third-party platforms beyond what is necessary to deliver the service. We retain your data for the duration of your subscription. If you cancel, we will delete your data within 30 days of your subscription ending.

AI-generated content

Our journal summaries are generated using artificial intelligence (Anthropic Claude). Article metadata (titles, authors, abstracts) is retrieved from PubMed, a public database maintained by the U.S. National Library of Medicine.

Your personal data is never sent to any AI service or third-party API. The AI processes only publicly available journal article data — never subscriber information.
